Vertical Blinds are great and affordable blinds for any home. However, what if you’ve measured the drop just a little too big, and the blades are almost touching the ground or sill. And all you need is 5mm? What options do you have? Well it depends if you’ve fitted the blind in the reveal or on the face.
If you fitted the blind on the face, then your in luck. All you need to do is raise the bracket that extra 5-10mm and your out of trouble.
If your blind is in the reveal, then it’s a little harder. However a neat trick you can use is cut the tag off the top of the hanger. If you do this you can save 5mm, which maybe all you need.

You can cut the top off and use the rung below to hook the blades.
This has got quite a few people we know out of a tricky situation. Hopefully this will get you out of trouble one day also!
