Verishades are a great innovative curtain. However they are fiddly to install, and if the end blades are not installed correctly they can fall down.
Why?
The fabric end blades are sandwiched between 2 clips. As you can see in the picture below, there are ‘clip anchors’ that lock in place when pushed through the other clip.
When the end blades are installed, if these clips are not pressed together firmly enough, they may not lock into place.
These anchors need to be all the way through the plastic so they lock, as shown below.
How to fix one that has fallen down
If you have an end blade that has fallen down, take the following steps:
1. Acquire a new clip
The existing clip anchors have been bent into a position and will not straighten. You need to start with a brand new one. You will need the appropriate clip depending on which end blade has fallen down.
2. Take off the old clip and replace
The old clip is held on with double sided tape. Peel it off gently. Put the new clip in exactly same place as the old clip.
3. Fold End Blade (If needed)
If the clip was attached to the end blade, you will need to refold the end blade.
4. Attach clips firmly together
If you cannot use your fingers to firmly lock the clips, use a pair of pliers
